Why report it to SAB?
Waste attracts waste. Leave a dump for a week and there’ll be twice as much the week after. Reporting quickly is half the job. We make sure your report reaches the city and track how long it takes to be cleared.
Do we see the same spot filling up again and again? Then we ask the city for a real solution: an extra container, a camera, more frequent emptying. We do that in the city council, with your reports as evidence.
What can you report?
- Bags and boxes next to a full or broken container
- Bulky waste on the street: mattresses, furniture, appliances
- Building or garden waste in green areas or along the road
- An overflowing or broken underground container
Note: hazardous materials such as drums, asbestos or drug waste? Don’t touch it and call the city directly on 14 043.
Frequently asked questions
Small dumps are usually cleared by the city within a few days, bulky waste can take longer. We track how long it takes and show it here.
No. We only need to know what is there and where. Tracking down offenders is a job for the city and enforcement, not for us or for you.
Of course, you always can. Report it to SAB and we keep an eye on it, get back to you, and take it to the city council if the same spot keeps filling up.
Your name and contact details are stored encrypted, only so we can get back to you. They are not passed on to the city. Six months after the report is closed we delete them automatically.
