Recycling centres in Maastricht: opening hours, addresses and what is free
Maastricht has three recycling centres (milieuparken): Beatrixhaven, Randwyck and Het Rondeel. When they are open, what to bring, what is free and what bulky waste costs.
Maastricht has three recycling centres, called milieuparken: Beatrixhaven (Fregatweg 32), Randwyck (Watermolen 39) and Het Rondeel (Het Rondeel 24). They open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 8:00 to 16:00, and each one closes on one weekday. To get in you need the waste pass (milieupas) of your address and a valid ID. Much household waste is free to drop off.
Opening hours and addresses
The three recycling centres in Maastricht share the same opening hours; only the weekday they close differs. You can hand in waste until 15 minutes before closing time.

What do you need to bring?
The recycling centres in Maastricht only let you in with a valid waste pass (milieupas) and an ID. Payment is by debit card (pinpas) only. The centres accept household waste from the address on the pass; business waste is refused, as are commercial vehicles, tractors and vehicles over 3,500 kg.
There is one waste pass per address. Everyone living at that address can add the pass to the MilieuApp on their own phone: tap the waste pass icon, or enter the address and pass number under ‘Meer’. Sharing a student house or flat? Ask your housemates or landlord for the pass number. If the pass or its number is lost, you can request a new one free of charge at mijnafval.maastricht.nl; the old pass is then blocked.

Moving out or no car?
Leaving Maastricht at the end of your contract or studies often means getting rid of furniture in one go.
