Free sessions for homeowners associations on insulation
The municipality of Maastricht offers two free sessions for homeowners associations on insulation and permits, on 27 and 29 October.
Do you live in an apartment building and are you part of a vve (homeowners association)? The municipality of Maastricht is organising two free information sessions about making buildings more sustainable. One session on 27 October covers permits, the other on 29 October covers insulation.
What is happening?
A private homeowner can decide on their own to insulate their home. For a vve this is more complicated. There are multiple owners, shared decisions, and shared spaces such as basements, garages and technical rooms. Sometimes permits or extra research are needed too. To help vve’s with this, the municipality is organising two information sessions.
During the session on 29 October, an insulation specialist will explain what is involved in insulating an apartment building. Topics include the possible measures, the research needed beforehand, and points of attention for shared spaces. The session also covers involving residents, making choices about shared investments, and planning work without causing disruption.
On 27 October there is an information evening about permits and procedures. Here you learn which permissions are needed before a sustainability project can start. This helps avoid delays later in the process.
